Come join the Mayor and Council members celebrate with
students' art work, dance, choirs, Ray Smith's
oral history documentations recorded with the
wonderful history of our community, and the viewing of the Bethel
High School Yearbook.
Mark your calendar
for the next
Chamber of Commerce breakfast,
where you can bring your spouse or date to hear
Bob Wood,
from the Blythewood Historical Society & Museum,
share stories of "Blythewood's Most Famous Love
Stories".
Tuesday, February 14th
(Valentine's Day)
at Doko Manor. Doors open at 7:00 am with breakfast
starting at 7:15.

The
University of South Carolina Equestrian Team
added a pair
of meets to their exhibition schedule.
The Carolina
western squad
will face
Ohio State on
Saturday,
January 28th,
while the
Gamecock hunt seat team pairs off with Converse College.
Both
meets start at 10:00 am at One Wood Farm
located at
1201 Syrup Mill Road in Blythewood.
Admission
is free. Come support a great equestrian team.
Hope
Optimist Club of Blythewood invites you to participate in a
photo contest.
Participants
are asked to submit photos that illustrate
a tenet of
the Optimist Creed.
Deadline for
photos is February 15th.
There are
three contests open
for
the Optimist International Scholarship Contest.
There is an
Essay Contest,
Oratorical
Contest and a Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of
Hearing.
Don't
forget there is a
lost and
found box
at Town
Hall.
Call

to 5:00 ) if you are have lost an item while on the trail, fields
or the playground.
