Thank you to the wonderful crowd who came to Doko Manor for the Black History Month Celebration.

Congratulations to
Ethan Harrell,
a 7th grader from Blythewood Middle School, winner of the art competition. All the entries will be on display at Town Hall and you are welcome to come by and see them.

A big "Thank You" to the Blythewood High School chorus and the Westwood High School Dance Group. What talented students and dedicated teachers who brought the crowd to their feet.

Ray Smith's oral history documentary of the five Blythewood families was so moving and is now part of our Blythewood History. We would love to have more families added to this documentary. Just call Town Hall and we will connect you to Ray Smith.

And, of course, a big "Thank You" to Councilmen Malcolm Gordge and Larry Griffin,
as well as the Mayor who sang part of a Michael Jackson song after being inspired by the dance group.
This celebration couldn't have happened without their vision
and hard work.

We would like your thoughts and ideas as we evaluate this year's event and make plans for next year.  Again, call Town Hall at 803-754-0501
and ask for Julie or Margaret.
