up the kids and the rest of the family and come on out to the 3rd Annual Blythewood Doko Rodeo tonight and tomorrow night. The fun starts early when the gates open at 6:00 pm each
night at the former community center property. The pageantry begins
at 7:00 pm with the serious ropin' and ridin' starting at 8:00
pm. Put on your boots and come watch all the action!

Much of the pageantry and showmanship of modern rodeo
comes directly from Wild West Shows that were started by
entrepreneurs like
Buffalo Bill Cody.

Lions Club is ROARING about their
upcoming Night for Sight and Hearing Gospel Concert. This event is held annually to raise money for
sight and hearing assistance for the needy in our community.
What a great opportunity for everyone to come out and
listen to some great gospel music and make a difference for someone
who is sight or hearing impaired.
This year the Night for Sight and Hearing will be held
at
The Manor at Doko Meadows
in Blythewood
August 25th
