Faculty, staff, parents, and students from Westwood
High School came out in honor of this year’s Wishes of Westwood theme – KEEPING
IT LOCAL.
“We wanted to honor the Town
of Blythewood with a simple act of giving,” said Schiria Wilson, Westwood’s
Work-based Learning Coordinator.
Community is one of our Westwood Way Values and this is one way that we
as a school could say to our community, the Town of Blythewood “Thank You” as
we took on this beautification project.
The
sentiment among the students was that “it was work, but it was fun because we
worked as a team”. Westwood Truly Serves!
