BLOWFISH BASEBALL NIGHT ON JUNE 20 –

The Blowfish are hosting their annual appreciation night on Saturday, June 20, for the Town of Blythewood, CSC, the SC DMV, and the SC DPS over at the Lexington County Baseball Stadium (474 Ball Park Road). Gates open at 6 PM with plenty of activities and fun for the family, including Star Wars costume night, fireworks, and kids’ catch with the Blowfish. Game time is 7:05. We have a limited supply of free tickets available at Town Hall on a first-come, first-served basis. Stop by during regular office hours (Monday through Friday,
8 AM to 5 PM) now through June 12. For game information, visit Blowfish Baseball.






ROCKIN’ RED, WHITE & BLUE: The Town of Blythewood will host its 2015 "Rockin' Red, White & Blue Celebration” on Friday,
July 3, at Doko Meadows,
(rain or shine). New this year is WWE wrestling from 3 to 5 PM, and the D.B. Bryant Band is
back on stage from 6 to 9 PM. Fireworks will start at 9 PM! Local food vendors will be on hand with plenty of picnic food. Bring your lawn chairs (no coolers please) and your family for a fun-filled night! Admission is free!

Thursday, June 18, 6 until 7. Basic Resume  Help for Adults.  Bring your paperwork and learn the essentials for creating a profesional resume or have your questions answered.


Wednesday, June 24, 3:00-4:45 Under the Sea for ages 3-8. Read about the mysterious world below and make a fun "fin-ny craft". 


Friday, June 26, 3:00 Criss Cross Mangosause for Families.
Hear stories and songs from Latin-America as you go from Mexico to Argentina,  the Caribbean Sea to the Andes and the Amazon to Patagonia.

Holy Smokes Friday Family Fun Nights: June 19, July 17, and August 21
This summer, New Kirk Presbyterian Church is inviting its Blythewood neighbors to truly experience community in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere by hosting Holy Smokes! New Kirk has combined the best of summer entertainment—cookouts, bonfires, music, and movies—into one Friday night a month, and added a little twist to each one. The fun starts at 6 PM, rain or shine, at the church (491 Langford Road, across from Langford Elementary). Admission is free, but donations are welcome!
