December 6th-8th Weekend

Christmas is coming, and so is the Blythewood Holiday Market and the Christmas Parade !

This Weekend in Blythewood December 6th, 7th and 8th See you at The Holiday Market! If all you want for Christmas is your two front teeth....you just might be able to find them at the 3rd Annual Blythewood Holiday Market.  Sponsored by Bravo Blythewood and the Blythewood Artists Guild,this year proves to be great fun with Santa making a special visit on Saturday morning for breakfast and photographs with the kids.  The Holiday Market will be held in the former Four Seasons Furniture store space in the IGA Plaza on Friday, Dec. 6 from 10:00am -6:00pm, Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8:00am - 6:00pm and Sunday, Dec. 8 from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Breakfast with Santa, sponsored by the Blythewood Lions Club will be Saturday morning from 8:00 - 11:00 am.  A soup and sandwich lunch will be available for purchase all three days in the Lions Club Cafe! The Holiday Market will be open Sunday afternoon so be sure to stop in before or after the parade on Sunday to enjoy some lunch and some great Christmas deals.  See you at the Market! Rudolph will be ready to ride when  The Blythewood Christmas Parade takes to the streets,  December 8th at 3:00pm.  Sponsored by the Blythewood Chamber of Commerce, the parade route is taking some new turns, this year.  The staging and start of the parade will be at Blythewood High School and will travel north on Hwy. 21/Main Street, turn left on McNulty, left again on Boney Road and left yet again onto Blythewod Road. It's sure to be a great time for everyone so bring a chair and settle in and enjoy the fun! Community Theatre Come be a part of something new and exciting as Bravo Blythewood gets Blythewood's own Community Theatre started.  Auditions will be held December 9th, 11th and 12th at the Westwood High School auditorium starting at 6:00pm each night.    Please bring a song with music or background and be prepared to read a short portion from a script.  The performance dates will be April 3-6.
