Leon Lott and all the Deputies of
Region 6, along with Blythewood's new magistrate, Josef Robinson would like to
invite everyone to the Grand
Opening of their new Region
6 Headquarters. The event will be held January 6th from 4:00pm -8:00pm. Come tour the newly renovated building on
McNulty Street and plan to stay for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:00pm.
We

Community Internship Program

The
students in Blythewood High School's
Community Internship Program will
be showcasing their career internships and community service
projects on Thursday, January 9 at 8:45 am in the small gym at BHS. Students in the
program have been working with mentors across the Midlands and
getting a taste of just what this working life is all
about. The students have been exposed to careers in a
huge variety of fields and will 'show off' the projects in which
they've been a part. Plan to come take a look at what some of
our Blythewood students are learning. There's more to school
than what's in a book!

Blythewood sponsors
New Year's
Eve in the Meadows,TONIGHT!!!
Come
enjoy a FREE concert featuring Freeway Music All-Stars from 5pm - 8pm and spectacular Fireworks at 8:00pm. Scottie's Food Truck will be on
hand offering up FREE hotdogs as a 'thank-you' to everyone for
their support during 2013.
Coolers
and lawn chairs are welcomed, so come sit back and relax while you
help usher in the new year with your friends and family!

New
audition dates have been set for Blythewood's new Community Theatre!
Bravo
Blythewood hopes you will come be a part of the 'next big thing' in
our town. Auditions will be held January 9th
from 7p-9p and January 11th from 9a- noon. The auditions will be held at The Manor @ Doko Meadows. When you come to audition please bring
a song with music or background and be prepared to read a short
portion from a script. The performance dates will be April
3-6.
