Some of the local roadways we travel are actually not in the Town of Blythewood, but maintained by Richland County. Therefore there are some areas that are not routinely  maintained. All we can do is encourage the community to not litter ANYWHERE and then we will have a trash free community to be proud of. Thanks for helping out!

The Town of Blythewood and the Blythewood Chamber would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the family of Billy Raines,who passed away this week. Mr. Raines was a past employee of Town Hall and our 2015 Grand Marshall at the Christmas parade. Mr. Raines and his wife, Carolyn, brought the first Christmas parade to Blythewood 25 years ago.  Mr. Raines will be forever in our hearts and on Harold Branham's pictures, as he led the 1st Blythewood Christmas parade on a mule. The Town of Winnsboro, which supplies water service to Cobblestone Park, has been actively monitoring the water quality and assures us that the water is fine.
