Did You Know...There is a great story of a "local boy makes good" in the Garden Club's Blythewood Scrapbook. It tells of a hard working, family man who was in the construction business, paving business, and later bought property which made him very successful. He was awarded the contract to pave the Lincoln Tunnel, the Holland Tunnel and the George Washington Bridge while in New Jersey. He later moved back to Blythewood and continued in the construction business as well as purchasing property.  If you know the man I am speaking of, please send me an email.  The first person to know the answer will receive a little treat from Town Hall. Thanks for reading the newsletter!  Kellym@townofblythewoodsc.gov
