The LiveWell Blythewood Farmers Market is becoming the place to visit and relax on a Friday afternoon in Blythewood. Come stock up for your weekend and enjoy some samplings of tasty treats.  Breads, jellies, and  fall apples  are just a few of the delights you'll find.   Live music this week is presented by Phil Markert on the keyboard.  Enjoy his lively renditions while browsing art from the Blythewood Artists Guilds ( B.A.G ) Shop tent and shopping with our SC vendors.  AND don't forget..... Pawley's Front Porch food truck is with us each week, so grab a snack or your  tailgating munchies.   Nothing could be finer than a fall afternoon in Blythewood, South Carolina!!  See you at the Market!!!

Richland County Transportation Penny

Richland County Council voted to place the Transportation Penny on the ballot after a great deal of deliberation and study, which began in 2006 when it established a 39 member citizen led Transportation Study Commission. This Commission held numerous public input meetings and completed a comprehensive study with assistance from a global consulting firm which specializes in planning, development, design, construction, operations, and maintenance of critical infrastructure. The study addressed failing roads, the lack of sidewalks and greenway infrastructure, and the unstable bus system. The council also sought the input of other area elected officials. Chef William Turner Appreciation Night


Blythewood High School and the Community will be having "Chef William Turner Appreciation Night", tonightWednesday, the 19th, at 7:00pm in the big gym at Blythewood High School. Chef Turner's last day at Blythewood High School will be this Friday.

Please join us as we honor Chef and his Culinary Arts Program's contributions to our school. This is an event for ALL students, faculty, staff, family members, and any member of the community. Please spread the word!! This will be a FUN night to CELEBRATE Chef and his students!! There will be a few surprises as well!
