The Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Part-time Executive Director. For more information there is an excerpt posted on blythewoodchamber.com with a link to more details at http://blythewoodchamber.com/part-time-executive-director-position-available/
If interested please send your resume or questions to Kitty Kelly or email kitty@blythewoodchamber.com.

Now you Know...The answer to last week's question: In 1917 Portia McKnight Lebchenco opened a medical practice in Blythewood, mainly doing obstetricts.  She visited her patients on horseback!

Did you Know...
Blythewood had a stage coach stop on property owned by a favorite Blythewood resident.  He was known for driving his tractor to town everyday and had to retred his tractor wheels because he drove so much on paved roads.  If you were a favorite of this "lovable character" he would share his bounty from his garden and the benefit of his wisdom with you!  Who is this man, or what raod was named after him?

Email your answer to: kellym@townofblythewoodsc.gov and get a little treat for reading the newsletter and being so smart!

Congratulations to Wendy Broderick, the new chair of the Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce!
