A huge Thank You
to Fairfield Electric Cooperative
and the Doko Meadows Park Foundation...

for raising funds to provide the Blythewood area with a high-quality outdoor venue.  Fairfield Electric's CEO, Bill Hart, presented a check for $25,000 to the Foundation to help construct a band shell cover and brick facade to the existing temporary stage area and to add a dance pad area, lighting, sound system and concrete walkways as envisioned in the original park design plans.
The Doko Meadows Park Foundation has approached other businesses and organizations and is seeking grant assistance to fund additional features for the Doko Meadows Town Park.
