Congratulations to Westwood High School for the 2014 National Gold Council of Excellence Award! This award was presented by the National Association of Student Councils for leadership and service to their school and community. Way to go!

April 17  Blythewood After 5 Hosted by the Chamber,  SOHO Office and Edible Arrangements are the two businesses to share information in this joint event.  Admission is free, but please register at the Eventbrite page at www.blythewoodchamber.com.

April 19th, The Town of Blythewood and Blythewood High School will host the championship game of the Fourth Annual South Carolina Diamond Invitational. This is a four day event, starting April 16 with top teams  from around the state competing for the title.  The games are played at the BHS field starting at 3:30.  Individual day tickets are $7. for more information: Go to their Website or Facebook Page or twitter feed, @SCDiamondInvit.

Richland Two Computer Classes offered starting April 28.  Introduction to Computer Class:  Meets Mondays and Wednesdays for 4 weeks, 1 until 3 PM.  Cost is $60; seniors 60 and older are $30.
I-Pad and I-Phone Devices
Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 29- May 8th, 1-3 PM.  The cost is $20 and you must bring your own phone or I Pad.

Want a good reason to visit Doko Manor and eat delicious homemade treats...plus see some terrific projects made by Blythewood High School students after reading Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird?  Historical Society members worked with Mrs. Stokes' BHS sophomores  in researching life during the Great Depression in Blythewood, Richland Co. and  S.C. as well as life now.  The students will showcase their projects April 28th from 6:30 to 7 at Doko Manor prior to the Town Council Meeting.
