Christie Lomas did an incredible reciting of the Poem, "Ragged Old Flag", at the Memorial Day Celebration for the Historical Society's event. Many people have asked for the words to the poem which is so fitting for Flag Day.   There is a Johnny Cash video and song on line if you Google "Ragged Old Flag".

Calling all Map Makers...or just an idea...

I have many visitors who come in Town Hall looking for a map of Blythewod.  Unfortunately, we don't have one to hand out.  I sent an idea to Blythewood Library asking for some help in getting a map, so I thought I would extend that invitation to the community.  If you have any ideas, or a good BW map, or want to contribute your creative energies to a good cause, just let me know...kellym@townofblythewoodsc.gov. We need a fun map of our town!
