This Weekend in Blythewood, December 29th-31st

Have a safe and fun New Years with Family and Friends!

       This Weekend in          Blythewood
December 29th, 30th & 31st

Have a safe and fun New Years
with Family and Friends!

Start your New Year by giving to those in need.

Blythewood Middle School
Beta Club members
Helen B. and Anna F.
made a presentation to
Town Council with details on a project to help the
Town of Nichols
in their Hurrican Matthew recovery efforts.
90% of the 260  homes were underwater and uninhabitable. Six churches and all 22 local businesses were also flooded.

If you would like to
donate money to
the Town of Nichols Disaster Recovery,
the Marion County Healthcare Foundation will match dollar for dollar up to $100,000 and all contributions will be used in the recovery effort.  Contributions can be sent to:

Town of Nichols Disaster Recovery
In Care of: Anderson Brothers Bank
P.O. Box 310
Mullins, S.C.  29574.

Contributions can also be earmarked for Marion County Recovery Aid Fund at the same address.

A new year
and a new book for
 Blythewood Reads...

Join the community as the Blythewood Library and the Blythewood Historical Society
and Museum
host the 2nd Blythewood Reads
at the Langford-Nord House
Thursday, February 9th.

The book is Grant Park
written by Leonard Pitts, Jr.
Go by the library to check out a copy and join us for a great discussion.

I thought that maybe if I put
my New Years resolution
in print, I would have to actually adhere to it for more than a week.
If you want yours in print,
send it to me and I will add it
to the newsletter.

 She is going to address
the ever-changing environment of unions in our state and how recent trends may or may not affect your business.
The doors will open at 7:00AM for networking opportunities!  The meeting starts with breakfast at 7:15AM.

The Mayor, Councilman Gordge,
his family and many other
community members
delivered Christmas meals
to the children of
Richland Two's Back Pack Program.

The dinners were graciously received and  the "drivers" of the meals got as much out of the day as the families receiving the meals.
Thank you to all the people who gave their time and Scottie's Cafe & Grill for the wonderful meals prepared for the Richland Two families.
