ROCKIN’ RED, WHITE & BLUE: The Town of Blythewood will host its 2015 "Rockin' Red, White & Blue Celebration” on Friday,
July 3, at Doko Meadows,
(rain or shine). New this year is WWE wrestling from 3 to 5 PM, and the D.B. Bryant Band is
back on stage from 6 to 9 PM. Fireworks will start at 9 PM! Local food vendors will be on hand with plenty of picnic food. Bring your lawn chairs (no coolers please) and your family for a fun-filled night! Admission is free!






Saturday, July 11 from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m. 
The  Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce will have a family picnic to kick off the new fiscal year.  Bring a covered dish and chairs and join your fellow Chamber members. 





Holy Smokes Friday Family Fun Night, July 17.
New Kirk Presbyterian Church
invites the Blythewood Community to a cookout, bonfire, live band and a movie starting at 6:00 p.m. at 491 Langford Road.

 Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

Wednesday, July 8 , 3:00 to 4:00.  Trains! Trains! Trains! for ages 3 to 5.  Join the crowd for train stories and fun as you ride the (pretend) library train.

Saturday, July 11, 10:30 to 11:30.  Blythewood Teen Book Club for ages 13 to 18.  If you are a teen who loves to read, share your favorites and find out what others are reading.  

Every Friday, 10:30-11:00 Family Storytime for the whole family.

Blythewood is getting fit!

Cobblestone Park Golf Club is offereing fitness classes to the community.  Zumba classes are held on Wednesdays from  6:30 p.m. to 7:30  at the club's gym and on Saturdays from  10 a.m.  to 11:00. The cost is $5 for members and $7 for non-members.   Yoga classes are being held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00. ("Fitness, Fellowship and Faith") on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 5:15 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. and every Saturday from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at Blythewood Park on 126 Boney Road.
