High School will host the South Carolina National Guard
Showcase
Scrimmage
4 basketball
games will be played starting at 3:00 with Westwood VS Lancaster at
4:15 and Blythewood VS RNE at 6:45. The cost is $5 to see
some of the best high school basketball talent .
The
Blythewood Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly Breakfast
Meeting,
Tuesday,
December 8.
Torrey
Rush from the Richland County Council will share news about the
exciting economic development that is happening in and around
Blythewood. Doors open at 7, breakfast starts at 7:30.

The Christmas Tree Lighting
will be held
Sunday, November 29
from 5:00 -6:00 p.m. at the Blythewood Town Hall.
The strings ensembles from both Blythewood High School
and Westwood High School will perform before and after the program.
Trinity UMC Chancel Choir will sing along with Cedar
Creek Baptist Church's Adult and Children's Choirs.
Refreshments will be served after the program by the
Rotary Club of Blythewood, The Greater Blythewood Chamber of
Commerce, and the Blythewood Optimist Club.

Langford-Nord House, the week-end of December 11th.
The Blythewood
Christmas Parade
is Sunday,December 13th
at 3:00pm
and is now accepting applications for entries and
sponsors. Entry and sponsor forms can be found at blythewoodchamber.com.
All net proceeds from the parade go to the Parade
Scholarship Fund which awards scholarship money each spring to
deserving high school seniors who live or attend school in the
29016 zip code.
