May 31st, June 1st and June 2nd

Every day brings us closer to the official start of summer but we've got some official beginnings to celebrate ourselves, right here in our little town of Blythewood.

To Market,to market...

Whether you're looking to buy some fresh SC shrimp, home grown veggies or freshly baked breads, the OFFICIAL Grand Opening of the Northeast Farmers Market is this Monday, June 3, from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at Doko Meadows.
With a newly forged partnership  with Lake Carolina, the Northeast Farmers Market is now one local  market with two...yes TWO....great locations.  The market will be open on Monday afternoons at Doko Meadows in Blythewood and Thursday afternoons at the Market Square in Lake Carolina.  Both locations will run from 3pm - 7pm
You'll find all these vendors, plus some great music and activities for kids this week at the market!  Come on out and experience the Northeast Farmers Market for yourself!

You're going to want to  join the growing number of Coffee Snobs created by Iron Brew Coffee, after you taste a piping hot cup of their Sticky Bun brew.  Iron Brew has been in town for almost ten years so the Blythewood  Mayor and Town Council thought it  high time they made this great roasting company the OFFICIAL coffee of Blythewood!  They did just that at last Tuesday night's Council meeting while sipping some tasty cups of Iron Brew's most popular flavors.  Whether you like your coffee flavored or bold, hot or iced you're going to find  you can't start your day without a cup of Iron Brew!
You can find Iron Brew Coffee at our local IGA grocery story and at The B.A.G Shop located at the Langford-Nord House, 100 McNulty Street.
You can also sample some Iron Brew flavors this week at the Northeast Farmers Market on Monday!

Welcome, Iron Brew!

New Kid on the Block

One of Blythewood's newest businesses is opening soon in McNulty Plaza.  The Blythewood Seafood Emporium and BBQ Haven will be serving up some tasty seafood dishes and BBQ delights when their doors open in the coming weeks.  Stop by for lunch and OFFICIALLY welcome them to the neighborhood.
