Poetry Out Loud

Bravo Blythewood Cultural Arts Council
hosts the S.C. Region 2 of the state-wide competition for students in grades 9-12. Teachers interested in participating in the S.C. competition must register with the S.C. Arts Commission by Friday, November 6. Parents and students may also request a form from their school's teacher if you would like to participate. Participating schools only need a minimum of 2 students competing at the school level.  Forms available online at www.southcarolinaarts.com.

The Hay Day Market festival
was a great success with fabulous music, kids in great costumes and many winners for the best pumpkins and costumes.

 NEW HOURS FOR PARK GATES: On weekdays, the gates at the Sandfield and McLean Road entrances will be open only from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This is to prevent drive-through traffic and speeding drivers that are endangering park patrons. The park is accessible at all times through the Langford Road entrance.
