Announcing...

Come have some fun and learn something new along the way!  Bravo Blythewood in collaboration with Muller Road Middle School has created the Blythewood Brainery just for you!  Registration is now open for classes that will begin the week of March 18 at Muller Road Middle.  Seven classes are available to choose from with more to be added soon.  Come stretch your creative muscles by taking watercolor, acrylic or oils classes with local artists Esther Melton or Carl Bell.   Are you a closet rock star and want to put some of your music on your computer to share with others?  Come learn the ins and outs of GarageBand from Myron Thomas, a former band director at Eau Claire High School.  How about finding out all the great things you can do with  your iPad from Morgan Motes, Muller Road Middler teacher ....and who says taxes can't be fun?   Enjoy learning the 'rest of the story' when it comes to your tax preparation from Kem Smith, CPA. If photography is your thing, you'll want to sign up for the Photoshop for Photographers course with Pulitzer nominated photographer, Phil Dunn, a retired USC photography art professor.
Dr. Karen Kuehner and Dr. Michael Langston are serving as 'chancellors' for the Brainery.  If you have a suggestion for a course or would like to be a 'professor' yourself, just let us know.

It's easy to get signed up for one or more of these courses.  Just go to the Town of Blythewood website www.townofblythewoodsc.gov
Click on Things to Do then scroll down and click on Blythewood Brainery and your halfway there!!!  Payment for each course will be made through PayPal and Richland 2 art teachers can receive recertification credit for the photography course.   Registration forms are also available at the B.A.G. Shop and Visitors Center.

You can get more info about the Blythewood Brainery by emailing info@bravoblythewood.com or call 803.261.2074.
