Nothin' Could be Finer...

Have you noticed the Certified SC Grown signs when you're shopping at the Northeast Farmers Market?
This certification is given to those SC farmers and vendors that grow or make their products in our great state.
One of our new vendors,
L'Ecuyers Gourmet is Certified SC Grown and provides hand made food products such as GLUTEN and Corn FREE baking powder, spice blends and dip mixes. They also carry body care products that are free of allergen provoking ingredients.  L'Ecuyers Gourmet is also FDA approved.  Come check out their handmade products at both locations of the NEFM.

Remember, to create a farm to table recipe and let us know about it on the Northeast Farmers Market Facebook page.

Remember the NEFM is at two great locations this year...Doko Meadows on Monday and Lake Carolina on Thursday...both run from
3pm -7pm.
Look who's coming to the market next week!  We hope to see you there, too!

Who Knew?

Most of the information about Pythagorus was written down centuries after he lived...but the THEORY is...that he was an Ionian Greek philosopher, mathematician and founder of the religious movement called Pathagoreanism.

The Eyes Have it!

Thanks to the continued efforts of the
Blythewood Lions Club
many  folks in our community have been helped with getting glasses to see better and in some cases even surgery for improved sight.  This is has been the mission of  Lions Clubs everywhere for decades...to help those in need have a better quality of life.   This year our Blythewood Lions Club is bringing  their annual fundraiser...Night for Sight and Hearing Gospel Concert to The Manor at Doko Meadows.
Blythewood's own, Joe Pinner, will be the emcee for the afternoon of wonderful  gospel music.  The Lions are gathering some great items for the  silent auction so be sure to bring some extra cash so you can take home something fun for your home.
What a terrific opportunity for everyone to come out, relax  and make a difference for someone who may need a pair of glasses or even eye surgery.
This year the
Night for Sight and Hearing
will be held at
The Manor at Doko Meadows
in Blythewood
August 25th
