Blythewood Recycling Center Closed August 9th

Blythewood Recycling Center Closed: The recycling center at the old Blythewood Community Center site (311 Blythewood Road) is closing effective August 9, as this property is now privately owned. Richland County residents may continue to recycle cardboard, paper, plastics, and glass using the curbside recycling containers, available from county’s Department of Solid Waste & Recycling (929-6000). Large quantities of recyclable items can be dropped off at Clemson’s Sandhill Research & Education Center, directly across from The Village at Sandhill. For more information about county recycling programs, see their Talkin’ Trash brochure. Thanks for doing your part to keep Blythewood clean and green!
