This Weekend in Blythewood August 30th, 31st, September 1st and 2nd To Market, To Market... ...but NOT on Monday.  This week the Northeast Farmers Market at Doko Meadows will be closed for the Labor Day holiday but you'll still get to shop for your 'faves' at the Lake Carolina location.   The following week we'll be welcoming a NEW PRODUCE vendor, Oasis Produce, to the market.  Enjoy your day off on Monday and plan to come back to the market on September 9, for some great produce, fresh breads, SC Shrimp and much, much more! Barefoot 'n Reckless Tap your toes and sing along  at  the 4th Annual Blythewood Labor Day Run PACKET PICK UP and FREE CONCERT.  The music's going to start at 5:00 pm this Sunday so bring a lawn chair and a cooler to the Amphitheater in Doko Meadows and sit back and relax while you listen to this talented group of musicians.  Come enjoy this newly formed American, Bluegrass, Country and Rock four piece band with  Blythewood's own,  Jim Graddick, on the fiddle and mandolin.  "Barefoot 'n Reckless" FREE CONCERT The Amphitheater Doko Meadows Sunday, September 1 5:00pm - 8:00pm along with the Blythewood Labor Day Race PACKET PICK UP Doko Meadows 5:00pm - 7:00pm Lawn Chairs and Coolers Welcome! Pawley's Mobile Food Truck and Kona Ice will also be on hand selling their great food and tasty treats. The Race is On! Run like the wind or walk to the finish line, it makes no difference come Monday at the 4th Annual Blythewood Labor Day Race.  The 10k and 5k races start at 7:30am at Blythewood Middle School and there's still plenty of time to register for one of the races.  You can even register that morning when you arrive.   Kids will have a blast running with Blythewood Mayor, Mike Ross, in the fun run, too.  Come on out and join the fun!
